Sean Hamilton
Associate PartnerSean is an Associate Partner at Pagefield and a former national newspaper journalist who advises clients on media, profile and reputation.
He works with individuals, organisations and leadership teams to help them become better known for the right things – and to navigate sensitive media and reputational challenges. His work spans profile-building, media strategy, media training and crisis communications, supporting difficult judgement calls: what to say, what not to say, when to speak and where to say it.
Sean has advised clients across technology, telecoms and digital infrastructure, as well as in healthcare, travel, legal services, publishing and other highly scrutinised or regulated sectors.
Before moving into communications, Sean spent two decades in national journalism, working for some of the UK’s leading newspapers and broadcasters. He held senior editorial roles at The Sun, including Assistant Editor and Head of Features, working across print and digital on major stories, campaigns and events.
That newsroom experience shapes his approach at Pagefield. He brings a practical understanding of how stories land and play out in the real world – and what it takes to shape them.
Sean is a former Press Award winner and judge, has been shortlisted forBest Crisis or Reputation Management at the PRWeek Corporate Affairs Awards and is a graduate of News UK’s Emerging Leaders Programme.
